Welcome to AES’ Open House

• What?    Open House
• Where?  Start in Cafeteria, then visit your teacher(s).
• When?   Thursday, August 19th, 2010
• Time?    8:30 am until 11:00 am

Don’t miss this opportunity to get your child prepared for the upcoming 2010-2011 school year.  Because Open House can be a little overwhelming, we have designed this checklist of things to to help you navigate through Open House.

Open House Checklist

1. PTA Membership: Visit the PTA table and join PTA. We strive for 100% every year!
2. Lunch Card: Stop by and pre-pay for lunches with Ms. Vickye. Each child receives a lunch card that is kept in their classroom. You’ll be notified when the balance is getting low.
3. Spirit Wear: Check out the AES Spirit Wear table and get your AES T-shirt, car magnet, tote bags and more!  Check our Calendar for Spirit Days – a chance to show off your new AES shirt!
4. Yearbook: Order your 2010-2011 Yearbook.  Download a Yearbook Order Form.
5. Volunteer: Stop at the various tables setup to give you information on new programs and committees.  Sign up to be on one of our committees that is actively recruiting volunteers.
6. Visit your teacher: We love our teachers!
7. Get Bus information: Visit the Media Center to find out your bus route and times for pick-up and drop off.

If you wish, download and print the forms below.  If you have these forms filled out before you arrive, it will save you time.  Don’t worry, there will be plenty of forms at Open House in case you forget them or don’t have time.
