Fourth Grade Projects

The goal of this committee is to organize and coordinate plans for the Fourth Grade overnight trip to Camp Wahsega in Dahlonega, Ga. This includes but is not limited to:

• confirm reservations at Camp Wahsega
• book stays at local motel
• arrange for bus transportation
• enlist 2 chaperones for each cabin
• submit request to PIE chairperson prior to end of school for next year’s trip for snack bags and campfire night supplies
• collect funds for trip
• send home appropriate information to parents (what to expect, what to pack, etc.)
• meet at determined intervals with the fourth grade lead teacher to finalize plans
• schedule an informational parent meeting (to be run by 4th teacher) as well as a chaperone meeting
