Outreach
The Outreach Committee helps families and teachers of Alpharetta Elementary celebrate special occasions and provide comfort in times of crisis. This committee coordinates food drives and other services for families in need. Volunteers are needed to pass along news of celebration or crisis to the committee and assist in outreach.
The Canned Food Drive for NFCC (North Fulton Community Charities) is the largest event for the Outreach Committee and benefits our local community. Volunteers are needed to assist with counting cans each morning of the food drive and boxing them for NFCC to pick up at the end of the week.
Canned Food Drive November 8-12, 2010.
The Outreach Committee is also responsible for the “Holiday Giving Tree”. Once the theme is chosen the items will be collected and delivered to the recipients. (Most likely NFCC)
Red Wagon: This program is primarily organized through the counselors office. There may be times Outreach will need to address the Red Wagon program to help fulfill certain charitable contributions.
Please contact Kathy Canouse for questions about the AES Outreach program.
