Read to Succeed

Alpharetta Elementary takes part in an exciting program that is designed to reward your kids for FUN READING! It’s the Read to Succeed 6 Hour Reading Club. Ever student who reads for 6 hours will earn a coupon good for free admission to a Six Flags Theme Park. It’s easy and doesn’t cost a thing!

The Read to Succeed Program officially starts on January 29, 2010.  A reading log was sent home with your student, along with an informational letter.  Please click here if you would like to print your own Read to Succeed reading log. Use the log sheet to write down everything your child reads and the number of minutes spent reading, then date and initial each line.

By reading just 15 minutes a day until the deadline, your child can easily reach the 6 hour goal!  The log sheet must be turned into your child’s homeroom teacher no later than Thursday, February 25, 2010.  Tickets will be received and distributed by the end of April.
